| I take it that A.R. Rahman is a well known composer there in India. How would you describe India's type of local music? Is it also influenced by Western culture or does it have its own mood? It's good to learn more about the music of different countries because it's one way of getting to know their culture. Learning more about these things also broadens our horizons and sometimes, they also influence us. |
| As far as I know Indian music is a variety of folk, popular, pop, classical music and R&B. Indian music seems to have a long history because they consider it as a big part of their tradition. I am personally impressed with the Indian music and I am inspired that A.R. Rahman has reached his fame with a good heart. I hope to see more of his compositions. Great day to all. |
